Bebe Rexha

After the Detroit Lions and the Buffalo Bills retreated to their locker rooms for the mid-game break, Rexha took the stage — which, judging by a fan-shared video from the game, happened in a tiny corner of the stadium — to power through several of her hit songs, including a rendition of her 2015 David Guetta/Nicki Minaj/Afrojack smash "Hey Mama" amid a setup inspired by the 1999 movie The Matrix.

When Rexha finished singing and launched into a dance-based breakdown in the middle of the song, the crowd audibly booed the artist. But it seemingly wasn't because they didn't like her performance, it was because they couldn't actually see her performance.

Bebe Rexha put on a sizzling display while performing halftime at the Detroit Lions versus Buffalo Bills football game in Detroit, Michigan on Thanksgiving day.

Bebe's vibrant blonde locks were freshly blown out to create a voluminous silhouette.

The Say My Name songstress decked out her eyelids with lilac glitter shadow along with a bold winged eyeliner and fluffy false lashes.

Her cheeks were dusted with coral blusher and her lips were painted a cool nude shade.

Performing at an NFL halftime show between the Detroit Lions and the Buffalo Bills which saw the latter win, Rexha was booed by those in attendance. The reason why seemed a mystery to those only following the drama from the internet, but turns out her platform she was performing wasn’t even visible for people in the stadium.

Always a positive start to have your audience completely unable to see you, because that is why people go to concerts and performances in the first place. To not see the people on stage.

The 33-year-old singer's performance was met with criticism and backlash from both fans and viewers because of this, and while she was performing a dance break, fans were booing.
