The leaked trailer features Loki meeting Mobius "played by Owen Wilson" who was an agent at the TVA specialising in the investigations of particularly dangerous time variants. The video further features the return of Sylvie "played by Sophia Di Martino" who is a variant of Loki and has enchantment powers. Last we saw Sylvie she had attacked the Sacred Timeline. Loki season 2 was one of the many shows discussed at Disney’s D23 Expo a few weeks ago, with Marvel revealing additional details about the show and sharing the first teaser trailer with the audience

The new season will continue after the first season’s events, where Loki beats the Timekeeper from the Kang dynasty. Moreover, it will now depict the consequences of altering the timeline and defying the god himself.

The trailer opens with the sound of an elevator door opening, as Marvel Studios’ logo gets unveiled. It moves on with a clock ticking sound mingled with the sound of a hand-cranked music box, creating an ominous effect. We see Loki cautiously approaching an unseen character.
