Jeremy Renner, whom we revealed yesterday was airlifted to a hospital in Reno yesterday in “critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow.”

 We are now told that Renner had surgery today, and is in recovery but still in critical condition. Also that his family is most grateful for the outpouring of his support from fans everywhere.

Renner, a two-time Oscar nominee, is the star of the returning Paramount+ series The Mayor of Kingstown and Marvel’s Hawkeye series on Disney+ as well as the Avengers and Captain America films. His other major credits include The Hurt Locker and Wind River.

New video shows Jeremy Renner's helicopter flight to a hospital shortly after his horrific snowplowing accident, and TMZ has learned new details about his injuries which caused him to lose a serious amount of blood.


The video, obtained by TMZ, starts right after the two-time Oscar nominee was loaded onto the chopper Sunday around 9:50 AM. Eyewitnesses tell us Jeremy was plowing the road about a quarter mile from his Tahoe home so his family could get out after a massive New Year's eve storm

The 51-year-old actor has so far undergone two surgeries to address injuries he sustained in the accident, a source close to the actor

Renner was hospitalized on Sunday after a "weather related accident" while plowing snow, his representative Sam Mast confirmed to CNN earlier on Monday.

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office said its deputies responded to a "traumatic injury" involving Renner in the area of Mount Rose Highway in Reno.

Deputies found Renner injured and coordinated his transport to an area hospital, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release, adding that the actor was the only person involved in the accident.

The Sheriff's Office did not provide details on how the snow plow accident happened but said its Major Accident Investigation Team is looking into the circumstances of the incident. A press briefing from the Sheriff's Office is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

Renner, 51, is in critical condition although he is stable, the actor’s representative said Sunday. No further details on the extent of Renner’s injuries were available.

The actor has a home in Nevada. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that Renner was injured in Reno and was flown to a hospital. He was the only person involved, and the sheriff’s office is investigating, according to the release.

In 2015, Renner posted an Instagram photo of a snowcat vehicle, which is used to travel over snowy terrain in difficult conditions.


In 2017, the actor revealed that he fractured his right elbow and his left wrist while filming the comedy “Tag.”


Renner has starred in multiple Marvel projects as Clint Barton / Hawkeye since the 2011 film “Thor.” In addition to being an Avenger, Renner has acted in numerous critical and commercial hits, including two films in the “Mission: Impossible” series, “Arrival,” “American Hustle” and “28 Weeks Later.” He has also been nominated for two Oscars, including a supporting nod for “The Town” and best actor nom for his work in “The Hurt Locker.”
