The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s art book has been leaked

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Nintendo has been rather picky with saying much about the game and even showing some footage.

The art book didn’t have any significant story spoilers, but it did have character designs. The link has since been removed, but a bunch of people were able to view it before that happened.

For obvious reasons, we won’t be directly linking you to the art book leak, but you can see an image of one of the leaked pages down below.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom isn't scheduled to release for another several months, but fans of the franchise are anxious for as much information about the game as they can find.

Nintendo has been surprisingly withholding, however, keeping the game's many secrets for players to discover at launch. This latest leak offers the most concrete look at what's to come in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom yet.

As part of the Nintendo Direct released in early February, Nintendo also announced a Collector's Edition for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The bundle retails for $129.99 and includes items like a Steelbook, a poster, a pin set, and the aforementioned art book. The Collector's Edition is supposed to launch the same day as the standard edition of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, so this is a significant leak of an unreleased product.

Photographs of the individual pages of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's art book have been shared online. It's unclear where the book came from, but fans of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or the Zelda franchise as a whole will be pleased to hear that the contents of the art book don't include any specific details regarding the game's story, open world, gameplay, or mechanics. While all the art book's images are undeniably spoiler content, there's little significant enough to force Zelda fans to hide for the next three months.

Focus for dedicated The Legend of Zelda fans who aren't worried about spoilers will be the finer details of what's shared in the art book. While the art book itself may not feature any major revelations, it's possible that fans could treat it like a puzzle book to speculate out larger elements of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It's not impossible that one fan or another could figure out the entire plot of the game ahead of release

The leak does seem to be legitimate, so if you want to go in totally fresh, we reckon it's high time you start muting some keywords over on social media.

if you've not done so already. We at Nintendo Life will not be sharing any leaked images here, and given the huge anticipation for the game, we respectfully request that no one spoils anything in the comments section, too.

According to those who have seen them, it isn't quite the spoiler-filled catastrophe it could have been, and Nintendo will very likely have anticipated this getting out early. Also, the book isn't exactly a Hyrule Historia-sized tome containing every shred of lore and art from the game. Still, if you want to remain 100% unspoiled, get those Hylian shields up!
